This is a game we played during class on a rainy day.
It's like indoor hockey but on carpet.

SET UP:
You will need
  • A big carpet area
  • Over 40 people
  • 2 tables
  • 4 old newspapers
  • and some duct tape

  1. Get 3 of the newspapers and split them in half.
  2. Roll them up into battens and wrap them in duct tape.
  3. Then get the other newspaper and spit it into half.
  4. Roll that into a ball and put duct tape all around.
  5. Place a table at each end of the area.
  6. Split the people into two teams. They are players and boundaries.
  7. Make sure that the people that are not playing cover the whole perimeter that you are playing in.

HOW TO PLAY:
  1. Once you have the teams give each person a number.
  2. Get one person to umpire and other to call out numbers.
  3. The person to call out numbers calls out 3 numbers.
  4. On each team 3 people would get up and run to get a batten. The people only run if it's their number.
  5. The players have to try and get the ball to the other end to get there team a point.
  6. First team to 10 wins.

RULES.
  1. The Ball must be on the ground.
  2. When you swing to hit the ball the batten MUST NOT go over your shoulder. If so the other team gets a free hit. Everyone must behind the centre line.
  3. If a girl playing squeals her team loses one point for their team. If a boy player squeals they lose 2 points for their team.
  4. The ball starts in the centre before the next numbers get called out.
  5. Once someone has got a goal all players drop their batten where they were last standing.
